Over the last 10 years, we've helped more than 3,541 clients across 6+ states and 2 countries with Tiles, Bath fittings, Sanitary ware, and Surface solutions — contributing to spaces worth over ₹11,000 crore, from practical residential and commercial projects to premium luxury spaces.
IDC is built around a structured and design-conscious approach to material selection, with curated solutions aligned across practical, premium, and luxury project segments.
Imperial Design Concepts is a curated tile and bath fittings studio at Plot No. 729, Industrial Area JLPL, Sector 82, Mohali, Punjab — about twenty minutes from central Chandigarh and within easy reach of Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar and New Chandigarh. We supply four material categories: tiles, including large-format porcelain slabs and vitrified ranges; bath fittings, including Italian and premium international collections; sanitaryware, from wall-hung WCs to designer basins; and architectural surface solutions for walls, facades and countertops.
We work with homeowners building or renovating, with architects and interior designers specifying for their clients, and with builders, developers and contractors running multi-unit residential and commercial projects. The studio is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday by appointment.
Practical, value-conscious residential projects — materials selected for durability, availability, and honest performance.
Premium residences with refined, balanced design — elevated formats and curated brand selections that hold their character for decades.
Luxury and bespoke architectural spaces — imported collections and statement surfaces, specified by private selection.

Large-format slabs, vitrified surfaces, outdoor solutions, and designer ranges.

Curated fittings from Italian and international houses — chrome, PVD, and specialty finishes.

Selected for form, engineering, and long-term serviceability.

Architectural surfaces and finishes — where the material itself becomes the design.
We compose the full material story of your space — tiles, bath fittings, sanitaryware and surfaces working as one considered whole, not a pile of samples to sort through.
Curated mood boards and material palettes, aligned to your design intent and ready to specify — so the concept translates cleanly from vision to site.
A focused, edited selection experienced in context — colour, finish and format seen together, at full scale, before a single decision is made.
The project first — its scale, rooms, light, timeline and design intent. Materials are not discussed until we know what they have to serve.
The project is placed in a Velora tier, so the shortlist is proportionate to it. This is what prevents a luxury specification landing on a practical brief, or the reverse.
A focused shortlist is prepared across all four categories at once, so tiles, fittings, sanitaryware and surfaces are judged as one composition.
Materials are seen at full scale, upright, under proper light — and against each other — before anything is decided or ordered.
A bathroom is not four separate purchases. The basin sets the mixer height. The choice between a wall-hung and a floor-mounted WC changes the wall build-up before it is built. The tile format decides where joints fall behind the vanity. A warm brass finish reads one way against a cool grey slab and quite another against warm travertine. Every one of these is a decision that has to be made against the others, under the same light, on the same day.
Bought category by category, over months, from different places, they rarely resolve. That is the single most common reason a finished bathroom feels almost right rather than right — and it is entirely avoidable. It is also why our four collections sit under one roof and one selection process rather than four separate counters.
The second reason is timing. Concealed shower bodies, in-wall cisterns, floor-mounted bath fillers and large-format slab layouts all have to be settled before the walls close and the screed is poured. Material selection is widely treated as a finishing-stage activity. For roughly half of what goes into a bathroom, it is a construction-stage one, and starting late quietly removes the best options from the table.
Every IDC engagement starts by understanding your project — its scale, its design intent, and its requirements. The materials follow.

Four categories: tiles, including large-format porcelain slabs and vitrified ranges; bath fittings, including Italian and premium international collections; sanitaryware, from wall-hung WCs and concealed cisterns to designer basins; and architectural surface solutions for walls, facades and countertops. All four are selected together for a project rather than bought piece by piece, because in a bathroom or a kitchen they are physically interdependent decisions.
For a general visit during studio hours, no — you are welcome to walk in Monday to Saturday between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. For a structured selection session, and for all Velora Forte engagements, an appointment is better. It lets us prepare a shortlist against your drawings and set aside proper time, so the visit produces decisions rather than just impressions. Sunday visits are by appointment only.
Yes, and a large share of our work is exactly that. For architects and interior designers we prepare material palettes, mood boards and specification schedules aligned to a design intent. For builders and developers we handle multi-unit specifications with phased delivery, batch planning and consistent availability across project phases. We have contributed to residential and commercial projects across 6 states and 2 countries over the last decade.
Velora is how we align a project to the right level of curation before any material is shortlisted. Velora Select covers practical, value-conscious work such as builder floors and smart residential developments. Velora Elite covers premium residences with refined, balanced design. Velora Forte covers luxury and bespoke architectural projects, by private appointment. The selection process is identical across the three; the shortlist is what changes.
The studio is in Mohali and serves Chandigarh, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, New Chandigarh, Derabassi and Banur directly, along with project work across Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. We have supplied projects in 6 Indian states and 2 countries.
